late 1960’s, B&O was one of the few American Railroads that
maintained excellent service levels on their premiere trains. Holiday
trains offered extra perks. This limited edition train print showcases the westbound Capitol Limited
E8, with an A & B unit, painted in the B&O final paint scheme,
passing an eastbound -Cap-, just west of Youngstown, Ohio. While the
consist at this time was a mix of cars with various paint schemes,
B&O maintained its coaches, diners and sleeping cars without
compromise. Service always came first on the B&O.
